President Donald Trump has released the lineup of performers for a rally in Washington D.C. This event marks the 250th anniversary of the United States. Trump shared the details on Truth Social, highlighting several key acts.
Highlighted Performers:
- Lee Greenwood will introduce Trump with his hit song, God Bless the U.S.A.
- Christopher Macchio will perform a selection of songs, including Nessun Dorma, Hallelujah, Ave Maria, and God Bless America.
- The U.S. Army Band, the U.S. Marine Band, and the Joint Armed Forces Chorus will be featured.
Trump confirmed his own attendance, describing himself as “a fine and highly dignified gentleman known as, President DONALD J. TRUMP!”
This announcement follows the withdrawal of several performers from the Freedom 250 celebration events. Trump suggested replacing what he called “highly paid, Third Rate ‘Artists’” with a speech by himself. He proclaimed he draws larger audiences than Elvis at the height of his popularity.
The story is still unfolding. Stay tuned for more updates.
