Emily Ratajkowski recently marked her 35th birthday with a striking social media post, showcasing a daring outfit that drew significant attention. She shared a series of photos on Instagram from her birthday celebration, wearing a revealing red dress at a New York venue known as Ha’s Snack Bar.

The dress, which appeared to be barely held together, featured multiple cutouts and fringe, creating the illusion of a shredded fabric. Gold bars were strategically incorporated to hold the ensemble together, with the cutouts extending below her navel. In one image, Ratajkowski is seen posing in front of a red cake while capturing a selfie.

The post prompted a flurry of comments from followers and renowned personalities. Penélope Cruz wished her a happy birthday, while Irina Shayk expressed her affection and appreciation for the occasion.

Recently, Ratajkowski made headlines by making her runway debut at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in October 2025. She first collaborated with the brand in 2023 for their Icon Campaign.

“I grew up looking at images of Gisele, Candice, Naomi, and Adriana, so it’s simply surreal to be included in a campaign next to them,” Ratajkowski shared about her experience.

Her association with modelling dates back to 14 when she signed with Ford Models, initially gaining experience in catalog and print work. She gained significant attention in 2013 after appearing topless in Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ music video and was named Esquire’s Woman of the Year. Although she pursued acting in projects like ‘Gone Girl,’ she chose to stop, feeling objectified and undervalued in the industry.

“But I didn’t feel like, ‘Oh, I’m an artist performing…’ I felt like a piece of meat who people were judging,” Ratajkowski candidly explained.

She ultimately decided to step away from acting, expressing disappointment with her treatment in Hollywood and a lack of trust towards those in the industry.
