The ICO issued a now former healthcare professional from London with a formal caution in relation to an offence under section 170(5) of the Data Protection Act 2018…the statement read, highlighting the serious nature of the misconduct.
The ICO statement elaborated that the conduct involved the intentional misuse of sensitive personal information. The individual had offered to disclose this data for financial gain, constituting a clear violation of trust.
