Campbell’s Expands Soup Line with New Gluten-Free and Bold Flavors

3 days ago 0

Campbell’s well-known red-and-white soup cans are on the way to a refresh. The brand is welcoming new additions to its product range.

New Gluten-Free Option

Responding to the growing trend of gluten-free diets, Campbell’s has collaborated with Banza to create a gluten-free version of its celebrated condensed chicken noodle soup. This new variety combines Campbell’s classic chicken noodle soup flavors with Banza’s gluten-free chickpea penne pasta. The initiative reflects the preferences of approximately 30% of Americans who seek out gluten-free products. The gluten-free market in the U.S. is expected to grow significantly in the coming years.

“For over 125 years, Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup has been a staple in homes across America,” stated Benjamin Crook, senior vice president of soup at Campbell’s. “The collaboration with Banza allows us to reach consumers looking for gluten-free alternatives with quality ingredients like No Antibiotics Ever chicken meat.”

Celiac disease affects about 1% of the population, but many more people are affected by non-celiac gluten sensitivity. Symptoms can range from digestive issues to chronic fatigue and headaches. The new gluten-free soup is already available online and will soon be found in stores nationwide.

Chunky Varieties with Bold Flavors

Campbell’s Chunky is adding unique offerings through a partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings. One new flavor, Campbell’s Chunky Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Chicken Noodle Soup, denotes a strategy to captivate modern consumers with bold, exciting flavors. With 17 grams of protein per can, this aligns with 2025 survey findings that 70% of Americans prioritize protein intake.

Another recent pair of releases involves collaboration with Pabst Blue Ribbon. These include Campbell’s Chunky x Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer Cheese with Potatoes & Chorizo Soup and Campbell’s Chunky x Pabst Blue Ribbon Beef, Bacon & Beer Chili with Beans. Each features rich ingredients and the distinctive flavor associated with PBR.

The new Pabst Blue Ribbon soups are available exclusively through Walmart. These offerings emerge as consumers continue to cook at home often, seeking value, quality, and convenience.

Campbell’s reputation for its chicken noodle soup, dating back over 125 years, remains strong as the company introduces variations to meet evolving consumer demands and flavor preferences.
