Gwyneth Paltrow is renowned for her work in films such as “Shakespeare in Love” and “Iron Man.” Born on September 27, 1972, in Los Angeles, California, she was raised by her parents, producer and director Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner.

Paltrow’s acting career began in 1991 when she appeared as Rebecca in the movie “Shout.” The same year, she played young Wendy in the Steven Spielberg-directed “Hook.” Throughout the 1990s, Paltrow featured in various successful films including “Malice,” “Se7en,” “Emma,” “Sliding Doors,” and “The Talented Mr. Ripley.”

In the early 2000s, she appeared in films like “Duets,” “Shallow Hal,” “Sylvia,” and “Proof.” Her role as Pepper Potts in the 2008 “Iron Man” film marked her entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She continued portraying Pepper Potts in several sequels and other Marvel films such as “The Avengers” and “Avengers: Endgame.” Concurrently, she took part in other films like “Contagion” and “Country Strong.”

Apart from films, Paltrow has also made significant TV appearances. Notably, she played Holly Holliday on “Glee” and Georgina Hobart on “The Politician” from 2019 to 2020.

Beyond acting, Paltrow is the founder of Goop, a prominent lifestyle brand. Initially launched in 2008 as a weekly newsletter, Goop has evolved into a full-fledged business offering a wide array of products, including apparel, beauty and wellness items, and kitchen essentials.

On a personal note, Paltrow was married to Coldplay’s Chris Martin, with whom she has two children, Apple and Moses. Their marriage ended in 2016. In 2018, she married Brad Falchuk, a producer known for projects like “Glee” and “American Horror Story.”
