Teal Quinn, a devoted pet rat enthusiast from Maryland, drove over an hour to help rescue an albino rat. The animal was reported missing or abandoned in Rock Creek Park.
Quinn was preparing for bed one evening when she discovered the activity on a subreddit dedicated to pet rat owners. A user had posted, “Lost or Abandoned Rat in Rock Creek Park!” alongside a photo of a small albino rat peeking out from beneath a bush.
