Three Wounded in Drive-By Shooting in Chicago’s Little Village

Three men sustained injuries in a drive-by shooting on Tuesday night in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood, located on the Southwest Side. According to Chicago police, the incident occurred shortly before 8:45 p.m. The victims were outside in the 2400 block of South Washtenaw Avenue when an unidentified vehicle approached them. Someone inside the vehicle began firing shots before quickly leaving the scene.

A 27-year-old man was among the victims, suffering a head wound. He was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was reported to be in serious condition. Another victim, a 21-year-old man, also received a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to Stroger Hospital and remained in serious condition.

The third victim, aged 22, was shot in the leg. He was treated and is in good condition at Mount Sinai Hospital. Chicago police continue to investigate the incident.
