Taylor Farms has issued a recall for a variety of prepared foods that include jalapeños. These products include dips, salsa, and guacamole. This action comes as a response to a multistate salmonella outbreak linked to peppers sourced from Mexico. The outbreak continues to spread through the U.S. food supply.
Previously, the company had also recalled iceberg lettuce, which was associated with the largest cyclospora outbreak recorded in the United States. Efforts are underway to manage and contain the spread of these foodborne illnesses.
