On Sunday, Senator Jon Ossoff delivered a sharp critique of President Donald Trump’s priorities during a rally. He questioned the president’s relationship with his aide, Natalie Harp, implying that Trump prefers spending time with her over fulfilling presidential duties. Ossoff’s remarks coincided with discussions about the lengthy deployments of U.S. Navy sailors stationed on aircraft carriers this year.
Ossoff stated, “While the sailors on the Lincoln are engaged in his war, as he depletes our munitions and oil reserves without result, the president misses important meetings. He instead spends time golfing and trading stocks, avoiding his responsibilities, while focusing on building his ballroom and traveling with Natalie, benefiting from an aircraft allegedly gifted by the Emir of Qatar.”
Natalie Harp, aged 35, was among the limited number of aides accompanying Trump in his recent flight change due to a possible Iranian missile threat. Notably, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and the White House press pool were left behind. Preston Harp, Natalie’s estranged brother, expressed concerns about her involvement with Trump, calling their relationship “very unhealthy.” He revealed to The New York Times that his sister left him admiring notes.
Efforts to reach the White House for a comment were made via email on Monday morning outside regular working hours. This story continues to unfold, with more updates expected.
