AEW Triumphs with Major Signings and Championship Wins

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) reached significant heights during their largest yearly event, All In, on Sunday. The show began with the seven-team AEW World Trios Championship match that transitioned from the Buy In and continued into the early moments of the main event. New entrants kept joining the fray, culminating in the wildcard entries.

Swerve Strickland was first to emerge from backstage, electrifying the crowd at London’s Wembley Stadium. Following him, music announced the arrival of two fresh faces in AEW history. Kofi and Austin Creed, now recognized as The New Level, marked their first AEW appearance since entering the pro wrestling free-agent sphere. Their addition signifies an enhancement of AEW’s robust tag team division.

During the match, current champions Adam Page, Bandido, and Brody King were eventually thrown out and eliminated. Other teams, including Kyle O’Reilly, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and others, followed suit. The contest narrowed down to Strickland, Kofi, and Creed against Claudio Castagnoli, Pac, and Kidd. At a crucial moment, Kofi narrowly avoided elimination with assistance from Prince Nana, keeping him in the game.

The trio of Strickland, Kofi, and Creed leveraged this opportunity, eliminating their rivals to seize the AEW Trios Championship. Previously known as Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in WWE, Kofi and Creed had been acclaimed tag team champions in their former company. Tony Khan, AEW’s owner, confirmed Kofi and Creed’s official joining, enriching AEW’s cadre of talent.

Apart from this exhilarating title change, another took place earlier. Persephone overcame Maya World to clinch the TBS Championship within the first two hours of All In.
