One person remains hospitalized after a shooting in the Bronx, New York City, involving federal law enforcement agents. The individual is currently conscious. The incident took place around 4 p.m. in the Marble Hill area, according to the New York City Police Department (NYPD).

The NYPD made it clear in a social media update that their officers were not part of the incident. An NYPD spokesperson reiterated to Newsweek that the department had no involvement and directed further questions to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
