Sylvester Stallone, at 80 years of age, stands firm against nepotism criticism after casting his daughter in the crime drama ‘Tulsa King’. He candidly responded to those questioning Scarlet Rose Stallone’s role in the series.

Speaking with USA Today, Stallone remarked, “First, they say nepotism is terrible. I believe you’re not a good parent if you avoid performing a little nepotism. Put your kids first.” According to him, providing children with advantages is a parental duty.

“Of course, it’s nepotism,” Stallone laughed. “We want the best for our children, allowing them every advantage possible.”

Stallone distinguishes between opportunity and performance, implying that maintaining excellence is the individual’s responsibility. Scarlet Stallone portrays Spencer, while Garrett Hedlund plays Mitch in season four of ‘Tulsa King’. The story revolves around Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi, a New York mobster, attempting to establish a criminal empire in Tulsa, Oklahoma, post-incarceration.

As ‘Tulsa King’ progresses, Scarlet’s role becomes more significant. Stallone, married to Jennifer Flavin, has three daughters: Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet.

Recently, Stallone discussed the physical demands of his Hollywood career during ‘Tulsa King’ promotions. In a Fox News Digital interview, he shared the aftermath of ‘The Expendables’: enduring injuries leading to multiple surgeries on his back, neck, and shoulders.

“I’ve been injured numerous times. After ‘Expendables’, I had nine back operations and three neck fusions. Both shoulders ripped out. It’s brutal,” he detailed.

Reflecting on his stunt-heavy past, Stallone advised utilizing stunt professionals instead. He declared, “I think I’m foolish for doing that. Proud of breaking myself in pieces? Duh, no.”
