Influencer’s Bold Move for Angel Reese’s Attention Falls Short at WNBA Finals

5 days ago 0

A social media influencer attempted to catch the attention of Angel Reese during the WNBA Finals, almost achieving his goal. Tiki, a content creator with over 479,000 followers on TikTok, attended Game 3 between the Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries dressed in a tuxedo. He brought a sign and called out to Reese as she stood at the foul line, declaring, “Angel, I love you.”

The sign he held up read, “Angel, will you marry me?” This move echoes the sentiment that you miss every opportunity you don’t take. However, aiming for the attention of the 2026 WNBA Defensive Player of the Year, who averages nearly a block per game, requires precision.

“Not in this lifetime, but I have some fine friendsssss,” Reese commented on Tiki’s video.

The series between the Dream and the Valkyries was intense, with Atlanta managing to secure a victory on the road. Both teams were in a fierce battle during Games 3 and 4. On Saturday, Golden State leveled the series to 2-2 by defeating Atlanta 67-62.

Reese had impressive performances in the initial games, scoring 30 points and securing 16 rebounds in Game 2. However, her performance dipped in Game 4, where she shot 2-of-12 from the field, finishing with eight points and nine rebounds.

Game 5 is scheduled for Monday night in California.
