Brittany Aldean Shares Her Journey into the Fragrance Business

Brittany Aldean, wife of country singer Jason Aldean, has ventured into the fragrance industry after contemplating a career in beauty or fashion for over a decade. She launched VADA, a perfume brand inspired by her grandmother Louvada. The name VADA is a tribute to her grandmother, who had a deep appreciation for beauty.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, Brittany shared how personal fragrance became her focus after years of consideration. Developing the brand required more dedication and resources than anticipated, taking over two years to bring her products to market.

“The investment in launching a business is significant,” Brittany explained. She realized the time and effort needed for success, especially as a passionate perfectionist.

“My inspiration behind VADA itself, the name and everything was my grandmother,” Brittany told Fox News Digital.

Brittany disclosed the challenges of entering the fragrance industry, finding the technical development of scents to be a valuable learning experience. Visiting labs and understanding the intricate process boosted her growth.

Brittany’s dedication to her business is closely linked to her family. Her husband Jason provides ongoing support, offering advice even as he manages parenting duties back in Nashville.

“It’s funny, actually this morning I zoomed with him. He’s in Nashville taking care of our babies,” she shared.

Jason encouraged Brittany’s entrepreneurial spirit, believing in her vision from the start. They both make time for their marriage amidst busy schedules, focusing on quality time together despite the demands of parenting and touring.

At home, Brittany and Jason have a system to balance their lives. While Brittany manages mornings, Jason participates when not on tour. They prioritize family time, holding onto special moments with their children, Memphis and Navy.

Brittany hopes her children witness the value of hard work and passion from her and Jason’s careers. Navy even expresses a desire to join VADA in the future, aiming to carry on her mother’s passion.

The family enjoys the spirit of the holiday season, starting their Christmas celebrations soon after Halloween. With Jason’s frequent traveling, early decorations allow them to maximize enjoyment whenever they are home.

“So it’s special to come home and have it be decorated for Christmas, and get to enjoy it a little longer,” Brittany said.
