U.S. and Iran Report Progress in Ending War But Uncertainty Remains

Iranian and U.S. officials acknowledge progress in efforts to conclude the ongoing conflict, though the extent of this progress remains unclear. President Trump hinted over the weekend at the possibility of a deal nearing completion. He later indicated that the U.S. is not in a hurry to finalize an agreement.

Negotiations have resumed in Doha, highlighted by a visit from senior Iranian officials. While Iran acknowledges there has been progress, the country maintains that a final agreement is not imminent.
