Die-hard football fans Brady and Isabella Crane are eagerly anticipating a weekend filled with both sports excitement and personal joy. Not only will their favorite teams—the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks—compete in Super Bowl LX this Sunday, but they are also expecting the arrival of their first child on the same day.
In an interview with ABC News, Brady Crane expressed his delight at the prospect of their baby arriving on Super Bowl Sunday, stating, “If we meet our baby that day, it would be perfect.” Both Brady and Isabella have been longstanding fans of their respective teams, with Isabella supporting the Seahawks, her hometown team from Seattle, and Brady having chosen the Patriots from a young age despite also being from Seattle.
Isabella, now 30, mentioned that her love for the Seahawks dates back to before she was born, reflecting a deep-rooted family passion for the team. On the other hand, Brady, 28, shared how his fandom for the Patriots began when he noticed the name he shares with former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on a jersey as a child.
The couple discovered they were expecting last May and documented their journey in a video in July, capturing the moment they learned they would be welcoming a girl. Isabella gleefully unwrapped a Seahawks-themed onesie for their future child, symbolizing her hopes for their newborn to join her fan base.
However, both parents-to-be are open-minded about their child’s future allegiances. As they await their baby’s arrival, they have a collection of both Seahawks and Patriots outfits ready, ensuring their little fan can support either team.
“Whatever team she decides, we’re going to support her no matter what,” Isabella assured. “We’re just so excited to meet you,” she added, referring to their soon-to-arrive daughter.
While the Cranes eagerly anticipate the birth and the game, their main priority remains welcoming a healthy baby. “If she is here before then, you know, we’ll take an epic game on Sunday,” Isabella remarked. “But no matter what, just healthy baby.”
The couple has a few potential names in mind and plans to make their final decision after meeting their newborn daughter. Regardless of her future sports preferences, both Isabella and Brady promise their daughter a warm welcome filled with love and unwavering support.
