The Kennedy Center has issued a directive to its staff, requiring the removal of all mentions of President Donald Trump’s name from the venue. According to a memo sent by the general counsel, employees must ensure that signs, brochures, the website, and other related materials no longer reference Trump. The deadline for this task is set for June 12.
Additionally, the memo specifies that updates to email signatures and letterhead must be made immediately. This move involves stripping Trump’s name from various facets of the Kennedy Center’s communications and physical displays.
Earlier this year, Trump’s name was prominently displayed on the facade of the Kennedy Center located in Washington. This recent decision marks a significant change in the center’s presentation and branding approach.
