A shooting occurred on Sunday, June 14, 2026, injuring a teenage boy in the Little Havana area of Miami. Police report that the incident took place outside a convenience store.
The victim, a 15-year-old boy, contacted police at approximately 11:08 p.m. to report that he had been struck by gunfire. He was with a group at the time, near Southwest Seventh Avenue and Third Street, when one or more individuals fired shots at them.
The teenager was transported to Ryder Trauma Center for treatment of a gunshot wound to his leg. Police stated that the injury is not life-threatening.
Miami police continue to investigate the incident, and the shooters remain unknown and at large. Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the shooting to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
