Carrie Underwood emerged on the country music scene after winning ‘American Idol’ in 2005. Her victory launched a highly successful career.
Born on March 10, 1983, to parents Carole and Stephen Underwood, she quickly ascended in fame. Her breakthrough came with her debut album, Some Hearts, in 2005. The album featured hits like ‘Before He Cheats.’ Following this success, Underwood released several albums: Carnival Ride, Play On, Blown Away, Storyteller, Cry Pretty, My Gift (her first Christmas album), and My Savior. Her 2022 release, Denim & Rhinestones, continued her string of hits.
Underwood is a multiple award winner, accumulating Grammys, ACM Awards, CMT Music Awards, CMA Awards, and American Music Awards. She showcased her talent as a host by leading the CMA Awards for 12 consecutive years. Besides, she has performed the opening for NBC’s Sunday Night Football since 2013.
In 2008, Underwood achieved a milestone by becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry. She was also the first artist to grace the stage at Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas with her ongoing residency, Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency.
Beyond her music career, Underwood ventured into fitness. She founded the brand CALIA by Carrie Underwood and authored a fitness book titled Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life. She also launched the fit52 app in 2020, further expanding her influence in the fitness world.
