A New Jersey man is charged with murder, accused of killing two teenage girls on September 29, 2025. Maria Niotis and Isabella Salas, both 17, were riding electric bikes when Vincent Battiloro, 18, allegedly struck them with his vehicle in Cranford, according to prosecutors. Charged as an adult on June 26, Battiloro is now at the center of a serious legal case.
One day after the incident, Battiloro was seen on a YouTube livestream indirectly addressing the situation. Despite the seriousness of the charges, he appeared more concerned about the online engagement he was receiving. He dismissed the negativity in the chat, stating that it contributed to his online presence.

When comments about the deaths persisted, Battiloro finally offered condolences to the victims’ families and hinted at undisclosed information yet to be revealed.
Law enforcement said Battiloro’s dash camera footage shows him in a Jeep Compass on the day of the incident, following the teenagers before accelerating into them. After hitting the girls, he reportedly fled on foot.
The decision to try Battiloro as an adult was made after transferring his case from juvenile court. This move has been welcomed by the victims’ families. Brent Bramnick, spokesperson for the Niotis family, expressed gratitude for the prosecutorial decision and community support in keeping Maria and Isabella’s memories alive.
Bramnick also noted previous incidents involving Battiloro, claiming he harassed the Niotis family earlier that month. Efforts are ongoing to uncover what investigations took place based on the family’s reports.
