Howard University Students Face Housing and Class Removal Despite Promised Aid

2 weeks ago 0

Students at Howard University reported they had informed the institution about upcoming scholarships and financial support they were set to receive. Despite this, they were still excluded from housing and classes.

Isabella Williams, an incoming freshman at the age of 18, took proactive steps to secure her education finances. She applied for every local scholarship available, opting not to inform her parents. “It felt like a gift to them,” Williams expressed, referencing how her mother had been compelled to leave Howard University years ago due to financial difficulties.
