Authorities in California are actively searching for two nine-year-old children believed to have been abducted by their father. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has asked the public for assistance in locating Solomon and Marozhina Sukonick.
Investigators report that the children were taken by their father, David Sukonick, on a recent Thursday. They were last seen around 8 p.m. near the 1000 block of West Avenue J-8 in Lancaster, according to authorities.
Desperate to ensure their safety, the sheriff’s department has issued an urgent plea to anyone with information about their whereabouts. Those with information are encouraged to reach out.
Descriptions of the Missing Children
Marozhina Sukonick is a white girl standing 4 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing around 90 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes, and was last seen dressed in pink shorts and a white shirt.
Solomon Sukonick, her twin brother, is described similarly as a 4-foot-4, 90-pound white boy with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last spotted wearing blue shorts and a shirt of unknown color.
Information About the Suspected Abductor
Their father, David Sukonick, is a 71-year-old white man, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 135 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes. Authorities are urging those who have spotted the children or the suspect to contact them immediately.
Vehicle Information
The children were last seen in a black 2011 Lincoln Town Car, which bears the California license plate SOLOYST.
