Choosing Accommodations in Barcelona

Barcelona, with its 73 neighborhoods and approximately 680 hotels and guesthouses, offers an abundance of lodging options. This vast array of choices can make selecting accommodations a challenging task.

During my search for a three-night stay in early July, I invested considerable time researching the various neighborhoods. The process was exhaustive, leaving me ready to collapse into any available bed. However, I drew the line at sharing a dorm room with strangers.

Those visiting Barcelona have options ranging from budget-friendly hotels offering free cold beverages to more upscale locations. These pricier accommodations might welcome guests with champagne and feature amenities like a rooftop pool with views of Gaudí’s works.
