Pro wrestler LaBron Kozone signed a multi-year deal with Major League Wrestling (MLW) in March. He is already described as a promising prospect with significant potential in the wrestling industry. Kozone has secured several victories and is preparing to face Joe Coffey on Saturday’s “Fusion.” Coffey previously attacked longtime authority figure Teddy Long, and Kozone seeks retribution.

Kozone shared with Fox News Digital his reasoning for joining MLW. He described it as a prime opportunity in the current wrestling landscape, stating, “You want to put yourself in a predicament where you become most effective.” Recognizing numerous promotions, Kozone found MLW to be the most suitable for his career ambitions.

Beyond the ring, Kozone is dedicated to his role as a founder of Firestar Pro Wrestling Training School. He emphasized the importance of the opportunities MLW provides, not only for himself but for his students. He acknowledged MLW’s rapid growth as a wrestling promotion, remarking how every event he attended sold out: “I feel like they’re definitely pressing on something significant.”

MLW owner Court Bauer praised Kozone as a “blue-chipper and a generational prospect” at the time of his signing. While Kozone admitted unfamiliarity with the term “blue-chipper,” he agreed with being a “generational” talent, acknowledging his unique impact in his decade-long career.

Kozone also mentioned his plans following the match against Coffey. If successful, he aims to pursue championship titles, further establishing his career in MLW.
