Hayden Panettiere Passes Away at 36

Hayden Panettiere, famous for her roles in Heroes and Nashville, has died at the age of 36. Her father expressed deep sorrow over her passing, describing her as an ‘incredible light’ and requesting privacy for the family during this difficult time. The cause of her death is not yet public.

Surviving her is her daughter Kaya, whom she had with former partner Wladimir Klitschko, a Ukrainian boxer. In May 2026, she released her memoir, This Is Me: A Reckoning, detailing her life, her rise from child star to adult fame, and the personal struggles she faced, such as postpartum depression, alcoholism, and a past abusive relationship.

Tragically, her brother, fellow actor Jansen Panettiere, passed away in 2023 at 28. Her final Instagram post, shared on July 27, features a playful black-and-white photo with photographer Randall Slavin, captioned: ‘Good times and good friends @randallslavin.’
