Kelani Jordan’s Rising Success in WWE NXT

WWE NXT star Kelani Jordan continues to build her impressive pro wrestling career. Four years after signing with WWE and joining the Performance Center, she has achieved significant milestones.

Jordan became the first NXT Women’s North American Champion. She also claimed the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) Knockouts Championship. Recently, at Heatwave, Jordan conquered Kendal Grey to win the NXT Women’s Championship in her first shot at the title.

Jordan spoke to OutKick Dropkick about her achievements. She expressed how these milestones serve as a strong reminder of her skills and dedication. ‘It’s great to remember that I was the first ever North American champion, a TNA Knockouts champion, and now the NXT women’s champion,’ she said. ‘This acknowledgment reinforces that I am a force in the industry.’

Throughout the year, Jordan has earned respect from both fans and the women’s locker room. In May, she boldly claimed she surpassed the women called up to Raw and SmackDown after WrestleMania 42. Now, with the NXT Women’s Championship, she has tangible proof of her prowess.

Asked about her status among peers, Jordan acknowledged her reputation. ‘There’s a target on my back, even bigger now as the champion. But people know a match with me means a tough, tough fight,’ she explained.

Recently, Jaida Parker stepped up to challenge Jordan. Parker is coming off a notable victory in a submission match against Nattie. This contest also occurred during Heatwave, marking Parker as a worthy contender.

Jordan commented on Parker’s challenge. ‘Jaida Parker stepping up didn’t surprise me. We have history, and she has a chip on her shoulder from our previous encounters. But I’m prepared for her tactics. While she talks, I deliver in the ring.’

Jordan and Parker are scheduled to compete for the NXT Women’s Championship this Tuesday on the CW Network.
