Nevada Drivers Face Challenges Due to California’s Fossil Fuel Policies

59 minutes ago 0

Nevada drivers face significant long-term challenges, not from international events like those in the Strait of Hormuz, but from California’s aggressive stance against fossil fuels.

The average gas price in Nevada was nearly $5 per gallon during Labor Day. This is a significant increase from the previous record of $3.82 per gallon set in 2012, based on data from AAA.

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Aaron Ford addressed these rising costs. He highlighted a gas station in Reno displaying prices at $5.69 per gallon and attributed the high cost to the ongoing Iran War.
