The injury occurred when Dart faced hits from Rams defenders. A low tackle caused his knee to bend awkwardly. Receiver Malik Nabers added to the concern, exiting briefly after an incomplete pass due to a shoulder issue. However, Nabers returned after resting his shoulder.
Dart remains officially questionable to return, yet his immediate comeback seems unlikely. The quarterback experienced a non-plant leg hit, reducing the risk of an ACL tear. However, an NFL source hinted at a possible MCL issue, which would keep Dart sidelined but not require surgery.
His injury prompted concern from teammates, who gathered outside the medical tent as Dart received initial treatment. He later limped to the locker room, assisted by team staff. Jameis Winston took over quarterback duties in his absence.
