Juror Speaks Out After Lindsay Clancy Mistrial

In Plymouth, Massachusetts, the juror who held out against a unanimous decision in the case of Lindsay Clancy made public remarks via a video on Fox News’ “Hannity.” Michael Desronvil emphasized the importance of focusing on the three victims in the case – Cora, Dawson, and Callan. He stated, “The ones that can’t speak for themselves, the ones that can’t defend themselves, and the ones that can’t fight the battles.”

Desronvil, who has remained at an undisclosed location, expressed gratitude for his Catholic faith and the support he has received. He mentioned, “I want to thank God for blessing me with the ability to love my daughter.”

Previously, Desronvil communicated through his attorney, Edward Paltzik, and in statements to YouTuber Ray Marcel, known as FugitiveTV. These messages were defensive against claims from other jurors that he had unreasonably pushed for a guilty verdict against Lindsay Clancy.

Paltzik, in an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany, insisted that Desronvil had no doubts about his decision. He also refuted allegations of prior domestic violence against Desronvil, calling them “false, fabricated, never happened, categorically false.”

This situation has led to a contentious exchange between Paltzik and Clancy’s defense attorney, Kevin Reddington. Reddington criticized Desronvil as “the obstructionist juror” and requested a court investigation into claims that Desronvil did not adhere to legal protocols during deliberations.

Lindsay Clancy, whose children were killed in their home in January 2023, is expected at a court status conference. Prosecutors will update on plans for a new trial, while Clancy’s defense seeks dismissal of charges and an investigation into juror allegations against Desronvil.
