The Smithsonian’s National Zoo is inviting the public to help name a female red panda cub. Born in June, this cub is currently housed at the Zoo’s facility in Front Royal, Virginia.
Among a litter of three, she has gained a reputation for her bold and spirited personality. Described by keepers as the most vocal of the trio, she clearly stands out.
Three names are under consideration: Dolly, Pyra, and Dolpa. Zoo officials are reaching out to the community to participate in the naming process.
