Trader Joe’s has announced plans to expand its presence with 30 new stores across 16 states. This week, new locations in Anaheim Hills, California, and West Jordan, Utah, are scheduled to open. The remaining 28 stores, which will be located in states like Arizona and Washington, are marked as ‘coming soon’ according to Trader Joe’s website.
A Trader Joe’s spokesperson shared with Fox News Digital that store listings usually appear three to six months before the planned openings. Reports indicate that stores in Bend, Oregon, Boynton Beach, Florida, and Phoenix are expected to open by 2027. Overall, the chain has announced 28 stores as ‘coming soon’ in 15 states.
“We are actively looking at hundreds of neighborhoods across the country as we hope to open more new neighborhood stores each year,” the spokesperson stated.
Illinois tops the list with four upcoming locations in Oswego, Chicago, and Joliet, followed by California, Florida, and Texas, each with three. Arizona, New Jersey, New York, and Washington will have two new stores each. Single stores are planned for Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio, and Oregon.
Trader Joe’s operates approximately 660 stores nationwide and is well-known for its private-label groceries and seasonal products. The company’s announcements regarding store openings keep consumers updated on new developments.
The spokesperson further mentioned, “Since Trader Joe’s began in 1967, we have been in growth mode. Our goal is always to bring delicious products at great values to as many people and neighborhoods as we can.”
