Suspects in Teen’s Shooting May Have Used Confidential DC Document

43 minutes ago 0

The Prince George’s County Police Department has announced charges related to the 2024 killing of 18-year-old Kesean Pollard. Recent findings suggest that those implicated in the crime may have obtained the victim’s address from a confidential city form. This revelation comes following the discovery of the document on one of the suspect’s phones, as indicated in the charging documents released on Thursday.

Authorities believe Pollard was shot by members of a rival gang while he was inside an Uber, not far from his residence. The use of a private D.C. document to locate the victim raises concerns about information security and its potential misuse in criminal activities.
