Intense Fourth Quarter Highlights Super Bowl Action Between Patriots and Seahawks

1 month ago 0

As the Super Bowl entered its final quarter, the field at Levi’s Stadium became the scene of heightened tension. A clash occurred between Stefon Diggs of the New England Patriots and Josh Jobe, a defensive back for the Seattle Seahawks. The incident started with both players grabbing each other’s face masks early in the fourth quarter, leading to them being separated after Diggs tried to throw a punch.

This altercation unfolded shortly after the Seattle Seahawks extended their lead to 19-0. Jobe had previously pushed Diggs out of bounds, prompting a confrontation. In retaliation, Diggs grabbed Jobe’s face mask, to which Jobe responded by hitting Diggs in the head with an open hand. Teammates Kayshon Boutte and Mack Hollins intervened to defuse the situation.

As the tensions settled, Jobe managed to stay in the game after throwing a left fist at Diggs, an action missed by the officials. Meanwhile, Treveyon Henderson of the New England Patriots caught a pass against Seattle’s Josh Jobe during the first quarter of Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium on February 8, 2026, in Santa Clara, California.

The commotion seemed to ignite a spark for the Patriots, as shortly after, Mack Hollins scored a touchdown, narrowing the score to 19-7. Until that point, the Super Bowl was shaping up to be the first in history without a touchdown, with two scores quickly following each other despite the slow pace in the first three quarters.

The Seahawks are eager to claim their second Super Bowl victory, whereas the Patriots are striving for their seventh championship title.
