Spotlight on Kelly Stafford’s Views

Kelly Stafford, wife of NFL star Matthew Stafford, is attracting attention for her comments regarding the Rams’ schedule. She is dissatisfied with the reduced bye week, as her husband’s team plays on Thanksgiving Eve, giving them only a 10-day break instead of the standard 14 days.

“Just curious to hear the thought process behind making the Rams the only team without a true bye week,” Kelly wrote on Instagram.

Kelly, 37, empathizes with the exhaustion that comes with aging, noting that she herself needs a break despite not playing. Her complaints may be hard to relate to for some, considering Matthew Stafford’s career earnings.

Matthew Stafford hasn’t always agreed with his wife’s assessments. During a podcast, he reminded Kelly that her travel decisions are her own and not obligatory.

Despite these challenges, the Stafford family plans to enjoy Thanksgiving at home, offering some respite after their busy schedule.
