One engaging topic among friends is ranking professional athletes throughout history. Whether through top 10 lists or using the Mount Rushmore approach, it’s a spirited debate. Pro wrestling enthusiasts actively participate in this discussion as well. For them, championships, legacy, and influence on the sport are significant, especially for those following wrestling multiple times a week for many years. Fans value how pro wrestlers are remembered.
WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella shared her perspective in a Fox News Digital interview. She suggested that her championship victories should be secondary. For Bella, more critical is the effect she has on those watching, whether in arenas or at home.
“I would love to be remembered as fearless, as someone unafraid to use her voice, someone unafraid to pave the way, and stand against hate,” Bella shared. She recently took on the role of Chief Margarita Officer for Madam Paleta Tequila.
Bella emphasized that being forefront isn’t easy. Many paved the way before her, but being at the face of change brings both love and criticism.
In another statement, Bella reiterated her commitment to being ‘Fearless’ Nikki. She mentioned, “I hope people can respect my journey, even those who disagree.” Ultimately, Bella hopes to be remembered for her relentless spirit over accolades.
Bella acknowledged that fans will eventually evaluate her titles and accomplishments. She was a two-time Divas champion, holding the title for a record 300 days, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame alongside her sister, Brie Bella, in 2020.
However, Bella stressed the importance of her impact. She explained that being a champion is about influencing people’s lives positively.
“For me, it’s always been about impact. If I changed people’s lives and gave them courage, that’s being a champion. My Bella Army is my true accomplishment,” she said.
Bella believes that this influence is better than any championship she could win.
