Tiger Woods, the accomplished golfer with 15 major titles, recently took a brief trip back to Florida. His Gulfstream V private jet was spotted departing from Stuart, Florida, and touching down in Switzerland, indicating the continuation of his rehabilitation journey overseas.
Earlier in May, Woods was seen at Palm Beach International Airport, which led to speculation that he had concluded his rehabilitation. However, his prompt departure suggests otherwise.
The brief return to Florida aligns with a personal matter involving his partner, Vanessa Trump, former daughter-in-law of Donald Trump. Vanessa disclosed her breast cancer diagnosis on social media. She called Woods her “strength” and shared an Instagram photo expressing gratitude for his support.
“My strength through it all! Family and the closest people to me.” – Vanessa Trump
Woods made his relationship with Vanessa public in March 2025. His personal life faced additional scrutiny following a March 27 two-car accident on Jupiter Island, Florida. He faced two misdemeanor charges: DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test. Although breathalyzer tests showed a 0.00 result, his refusal to take a urine test led to legal consequences.
Following the incident, Woods took a step back from professional golf, stating he needed to focus on his health. He was granted permission to leave the country for comprehensive treatment in early April.
Tiger Woods’ last competitive golf appearance was during the 2024 Open Championship. His last cut was made earlier that year at the Masters in Augusta.
