4 weeks ago 0

President Donald Trump is in “excellent health” according to his physician’s memo released following his recent annual physical examination. The assessment was conducted at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Dr. Sean P. Barbabella, Trump’s physician, reported that the president demonstrates strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function. His memo highlighted Trump’s demanding daily schedule, which includes high-level meetings, public engagements, and regular physical activities, supporting his well-being. Trump’s cognitive and physical performance were rated as excellent.

Trump attended the commencement ceremony at the United States Coast Guard Academy on May 20, 2026, in New London, Conn., illustrating his ongoing public commitments. Dr. Barbabella stated that Trump is fully fit to fulfill his duties as Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.

The evaluation encompassed diagnostic studies, laboratory tests, and consultations with 22 specialists. Trump, aged 79, measures 75 inches in height and weighs 238 pounds. His heart rate is 73 beats per minute, with a blood pressure reading of 105/71 mmHg and oxygen saturation at 98% on room air.

The examination revealed no major health issues. Dr. Barbabella observed scarring on Trump’s right ear from a 2024 assassination attempt and reported mild lower-leg swelling, improved from the previous year.

Trump underwent a neurological examination showing a normal mental status, with perfect scores on cognitive screening. Bruising on his hand was attributed to minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking, coupled with aspirin use for cardiovascular prevention.

Trump’s laboratory results showed no significant abnormalities. His medical history notes lifelong abstinence from tobacco and alcohol. He currently takes Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe for cholesterol, and aspirin for cardiovascular health.
