Among the numerous celebrity fans of the New York Knicks, actor Ben Stiller is a standout supporter. Known for his regular courtside appearances, Stiller was present on Monday night with notable figures like Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee, and Tracy Morgan. They watched the Knicks secure their spot in the NBA Finals after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers. This marks the team’s first appearance in the Finals in 27 years.

After the game, Stiller took to social media to express his excitement. He posted a video recorded during the final moments, featuring the handshake between Mike Brown and Kenny Atkinson at midcourt. The video also captured the Knicks players’ immediate reactions to the victory. Stiller included a broom emoji, symbolizing the series sweep.

In another social media update shared around 1 a.m. ET, Stiller displayed a screenshot of his phone lock screen. It showed a photo of Karl-Anthony Towns with the caption: “It’s 1 a.m. KNICKS ARE EASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPS.”

The Knicks will have a break before the NBA Finals begin on June 3. They will face the winner of the Western Conference Finals, currently contested by the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder, with the series tied at 2-2. The team advancing from this series will hold home-court advantage over New York due to their better regular-season record. Consequently, the first game at Madison Square Garden will be Game 3 of the Finals.
