Rose Marie Gayhart, aged 23 at the time, disappeared in March 1985. Her parents, residing in Dansville, New York, reported her missing. At the time of her disappearance, Gayhart was living and working in the Cape Coral and North Fort Myers area according to the Cape Coral Police Department.
