DK Metcalf’s Conspiracy Theories and Team Bonding

41 minutes ago 0

DK Metcalf and Aaron Rodgers, teammates on the Pittsburgh Steelers, have found a unique connection through their interest in conspiracy theories. Metcalf recently discussed his belief in the Hollow Earth theory during an interview with The Athletic.

Metcalf suggests there is another civilization within the Earth, highlighting the difficulty of booking a trip to Antarctica as evidence. He argues that while trips to regions like Alaska and the North Pole are possible, Antarctica remains less accessible. According to him, this supports the idea that something is concealed there.

“Yeah, I’m a big conspiracy theorist. Shout out to my quarterback,” he said with a smile. “I think it’s another world. I believe there is another civilization inside of Earth.”

While Antarctica tourism exists between November and March, mainly through ship travel, there are no commercial airports, and flights are government-regulated. Metcalf questions why world leaders would gather there if not for hidden reasons.

The article from The Athletic notes no credible evidence of such gatherings among global leaders, though they acknowledge visits by distinguished individuals occur.

Metcalf clarifies his interest in conspiracy theories predates his time with Rodgers, dismissing any direct influence from the quarterback. Their shared interest has simply strengthened their bond.

“Nah, I’ve been on it,” Metcalf stated. “But it just so happened that we can bond over it.”

This unusual topic might not challenge any NFL defense, but it has certainly captivated the conversation off the field, leaving some eager to learn more about Metcalf’s theories.
