Recovery Efforts Following Grand Canyon Flash Floods
Search and rescue teams are actively working in the Grand Canyon after this weekend’s devastating flash floods. Two bodies have been recovered so far. The National Park Service has confirmed that more than a dozen individuals remain missing.
Due to the severe weather conditions, accommodations within the park including lodges and hotels have temporarily closed. The possibility of more rain and flooding continues to pose threats, making recovery and safety efforts a critical focus.
