Kristi Noem’s Husband Faces Allegations

Sex Worker Accusations

An interview reveals Bryon Noem’s alleged use of a phone number associated with his insurance business for paid calls. The interview also discusses his interest in transitioning and a long-running online relationship with a dominatrix. These claims heighten scrutiny on former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. Her anti-trans policies shaped national agendas, and now her family confronts ethical and security concerns.

The dominatrix, Shy Sotomayor, known online as Raelynn Riley, shared information with Uncloseted Media. She claimed Bryon Noem repeatedly contacted her using a number tied to Noem Insurance Group. She provided recordings and messages documenting years of paid calls and personal conversations.

The phone number matches one previously linked to Bryon Noem in April reporting by The Independent. The publication also reviewed messages in which he discussed feminization and expressed a desire to be called “Crystal.” Noem refuted the allegations, telling The Independent that the claims were “not all true.” He did not specify which parts he disputed.

Newsweek reached out to Bryon Noem for his comments via text message. An email also targeted a representative for Kristi Noem.

Understanding Bryon Noem

Bryon Noem, aged 56, is an insurance executive from South Dakota. He generally maintains a low profile despite his wife Kristi Noem’s high-profile political career. Married for over 30 years, the couple has long portrayed themselves as conservative Christians.

This image has been challenged as multiple women have claimed paid online relationships with Bryon Noem over several years. Sotomayor and others suggested he used pseudonyms such as “Crystal” and an email address including “Chrystalballz666” while participating in sessions focused on feminization and transition-related fantasies.

“He repeatedly asked to go by Crystal,” Sotomayor said in the interview. “He said, ‘I will be your trans girl.’”

Sotomayor mentioned she was unaware of his identity initially, discovering it only after reviewing a PayPal invoice where he failed to switch aliases.

Controversy Surrounding Kristi Noem’s Husband

Sotomayor informed Uncloseted Media that Bryon Noem paid tens of thousands of dollars over nearly a decade. Payments occurred via Amazon gift cards initially, progressing to digital platforms. He reportedly used his business phone for arranging calls and payments, attracting attention from ethics and national-security experts.

A former CIA officer told the Daily Mail the conduct could create vulnerabilities if hostile intelligence services identified the behavior. Sotomayor labeled Bryon Noem a “loose cannon,” indicating he continued contacting her despite intensified reporting.

The allegations conflict with Kristi Noem’s political history. As governor of South Dakota, she enacted laws restricting gender-affirming care for minors, limited trans participation in sports, and allowed businesses to deny services to LGBTQ individuals.

Sotomayor remarked Bryon Noem’s private actions contrasted starkly with his wife’s public policies. “I knew he was in my DMs saying, ‘I want to be trans, bimbo, I want to get hair implants, I wanna get breast implants, I wanna do all of this kind of transitioning,’” Sotomayor stated, later adding, “And then he goes on interviews and be like, ‘Oh, my wife is God’s gift to me, and she’s right in everything that she does.”

Sotomayor characterized him as unconcerned about being discovered. “Anytime I talked to him and was like, ‘Hey, people could find us out,’ he’s like, ‘I don’t care.’”

Background on Kristi Noem’s Dismissal

Kristi Noem was discharged as Secretary of Homeland Security in March, following a tumultuous tenure marked by internal criticism, congressional scrutiny, and consequences stemming from her immigration enforcement strategy. President Donald Trump subsequently assigned her to a diplomatic position.

Her dismissal coincided with initial reports about her husband’s alleged online conduct. During this period, Sotomayor feared retaliation since Kristi Noem was overseeing ICE operations, while Sotomayor resided near a detention center in Colorado.

Understanding Bimbofication

“Bimbofication” involves a fetish centered on exaggerated femininity, often highlighting hyper-stylized or hyper-sexualized appearances. Women who interacted with Noem stated he desired implants, facial feminization, hair modifications, and clothing aligned with the aesthetic.

Sotomayor noted Noem described a wish to “be your trans girl,” frequently using feminine language during sessions. She believed the intensity of his fixation implied motives beyond fantasy.

Future Developments

The allegations persist as more women come forward while Bryon Noem faces increasing inquiries regarding his conduct, resource use, and possible implications for his wife’s political career.

Neither Bryon nor Kristi Noem has provided comprehensive public responses.
