Logan Paul Injured After WWE Tag Team Match

4 weeks ago 0

Logan Paul, alongside Austin Theory, successfully defended the WWE Tag Team Championship at “Saturday Night’s Main Event” recently. They defeated The Street Profits in a match that stretched over 16 minutes. The victory concluded with a pinfall after Paul used brass knuckles to knock out Montez Ford, allowing Theory to secure the cover.

In the course of the match, Ford sent Paul over the top rope, nearly resulting in a concerning fall for the wrestler and social media influencer. Despite the victory, Paul’s triumph was followed by disappointing news of an injury he sustained during the match. Initial reports lacked clarity on the injury’s severity.

An update on Monday revealed Paul suffered a torn triceps, which will sideline him for several months. WWE commentator Michael Cole confirmed this during the Monday episode of “Raw.” Paul’s injury is a setback after his meteoric rise in WWE since joining in 2021. His performance as a heel and his promo abilities have been noteworthy. He’s also demonstrated a knack for mastering in-ring techniques and executing complex moves, a challenge for many young wrestlers.

Before taking on the tag team championship with Theory, Paul held the WWE United States Championship for 273 days. His potential for a major championship seemed promising. Apart from his recent match, Paul and Theory were in a feud with Joe Hendry, who had released a song targeting Paul. While Paul may miss out on in-ring action, Hendry might now contend with Paul’s group, The Vision.

During Monday’s “Raw,” Theory clashed with Hendry, suggesting a new feud is on the horizon. WWE also announced Bron Breakker will replace Paul in The Vision as Theory’s tag team partner. While Paul’s injury is a hurdle, he is expected to manage through it and focus on recovery. He might stay off WWE TV for a while, allowing time to recuperate.
