Weather Delay Tactics

Kiffin’s strategic mindset extended beyond the game itself. A nearly two-hour weather delay occurred due to lightning. Kiffin opted not to expedite the 90-minute warm-up, choosing instead to keep Clemson in the uncomfortable visiting locker room. He believed this choice would benefit LSU.

“That locker room sucks over there,” Kiffin remarked. “The longer you sit in there, the better for us.”
