Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) star Mickie James will make an appearance at the upcoming Bound for Glory event. This occasion marks a significant highlight for the wrestling company.

Recently, on “Impact,” a vignette hinted at her return. The scene featured an older logo on a crate. When the crate opened, a bright light was revealed, which vanished to show a white cowgirl hat and a denim jacket. A mysterious woman then took the hat and placed it on her head. This imagery, combined with the “Hardcore Country” theme music, pointed unmistakably to Mickie James.

“Impact” fans instantly recognized the iconic entrance theme.

Mickie James has a long history with TNA. She first joined in 2002 when TNA was affiliated with the National Wrestling Alliance, staying for about a year before joining WWE. James returned to TNA in 2010, engaging in a feud with Madison Rayne, which led to her winning the TNA Knockouts Championship in April 2011. This victory made her the first woman to hold the TNA Knockouts, WWE Women’s, and WWE Divas Championships. She is a five-time Knockouts champion and continued to be part of the organization until 2023.

Last year, Mickie James received the honor of being inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame, solidifying her legendary status in the wrestling world.

The Bound for Glory event at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, promises to provide many thrilling matches. Championships up for grabs include the TNA X Division Championship in a six-way scramble featuring wrestlers like Fabian Aichner and Rich Swann, along with others such as a Knockouts Championship match and a TNA World Championship defense by Nic Nemeth.

The card also features Ricky Sosa against Eddie Edwards.
A Falls Count Anywhere match between Joseph Sawyer, Samuel Shaw, and The Hardys will occur.
The Call Your Shot Gauntlet offers the winner a future championship opportunity.

The weekend is shaping up to be action-packed for professional wrestling fans. Mickie James’ return adds a nostalgic touch to the anticipated Bound for Glory event.
