A judge in North Carolina has reportedly issued an arrest order for Jen Belichick after she missed a court appearance. She is the daughter-in-law of Bill Belichick, famed head coach of the New England Patriots.
The situation began when Jen Belichick, married to Steve Belichick, the defensive coordinator for the North Carolina Tar Heels, was ticketed by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. She was reportedly driving 88 mph in a 70 mph zone in Brunswick County on May 21.
Charged with misdemeanor speeding, Jen Belichick did not attend her scheduled court date. This absence prompted the judge to issue the arrest order. According to the California Post, she now has three options. She can file a motion to recall the arrest order, hire an attorney for her defense, or surrender to authorities.
As of now, Jen Belichick has not commented publicly on the matter. Efforts to seek comment from a Brunswick County clerk have not been successful.
Jen Belichick has been married to Steve Belichick for approximately ten years. They have several children together. Recently, she reportedly had a dispute with Jordon Hudson, Bill Belichick’s girlfriend. The disagreement began when Hudson interrupted an interview question during Bill Belichick’s interview with CBS News in May 2025. There was also an alleged altercation with Hudson in the Tar Heels head coach’s office over various issues.
