Prince William’s Choice to Avoid Conflict with Prince Harry in New Documentary

49 minutes ago 0

Prince William and Prince Harry are not expected to reconcile for a new documentary about their late mother, Princess Diana. Host Piers Morgan commented on the issue, suggesting that the ongoing rift between the brothers makes a reunion improbable. Morgan noted that William remains upset over Harry’s public remarks and projects about the royal family, involving documentaries, books, and podcasts.

Several royal experts have previously mentioned that the two brothers have not been in communication since 2022, particularly following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Morgan remarked that Harry’s criticisms have left family members, including Prince William, feeling alienated.

“Harry took out the spray gun,” Morgan said. “And when you do that, then family members who are on the receiving end aren’t going to like it.”

Fox News Digital attempted to contact Kensington Palace for comments regarding the situation. Morgan and others have criticized Harry and Meghan’s decision to step back from their royal roles and their subsequent media projects involving the royal family.

Recently, The Times reported that Prince William would not participate in a film about Princess Diana to commemorate the 30th anniversary of her passing. This decision stems from his desire to avoid further conflicts with Harry. William is reportedly satisfied with how he honored Diana during her 20th anniversary.

On the other hand, multiple sources note that Prince Harry is exploring meaningful ways to commemorate Diana’s legacy as the milestone in 2027 approaches. Although discussions are ongoing, no documentary has been finalized.

Royal broadcaster Ian Pelham Turner remarked on the brothers’ continued separation and its impact on King Charles III. Turner suggested this familial distance is causing distress for the King, who is also facing criticism from Charles Spencer’s recently published memoir about Diana.

Friends of Prince William reported that he might observe the 30th anniversary of Diana’s death privately. There’s been an increase in public engagements by William and Catherine, documented widely.

Previously, William and Harry cooperated on projects for the 20th anniversary of Diana’s death, with William expressing intentions not to discuss her publicly in the future. Harry has often spoken about the deep impact of his mother’s death on his life. In his memoir “Spare,” he shares emotional recollections from Diana’s funeral, expressing the profound grief he experienced at a young age.
