Federal prosecutors in Texas have charged a Venezuelan delivery driver with assaulting a federal officer, according to court documents released on Tuesday. The incident took place earlier this month when the driver was shot by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent.
The prosecutors stated that Wilber Rafael Garces Perez, aged 28, was accused of using his vehicle to strike an ICE officer as he attempted to flee from arrest.
