The latest election results from Virginia’s Senate primary reveal that three Republican candidates are competing to challenge incumbent Democrat Mark Warner in the upcoming general election. Mark Warner is running for his fourth term and is not facing any challengers from within his party.
Among those vying for the Republican nomination are Kim Farington, a certified public accountant; Bert Mizusawa, a retired Army Major General; and David Williams, a Marine Corps reservist and former diplomat. Each candidate brings a unique background to the race, aiming to unseat Warner in the general election.
