The Source of the Leak

Beth revealed that Will was targeted by a hacking group based in Eastern Europe. This incident occurred just a year after he was drafted by the Titans from Kentucky.

‘Will actually ended up engaging in hiring a cyber security specialist and private investigator and spent an exorbitant amount of money to try to get to the bottom of this,’ she said. ‘A lot of the content was taken down, but you can never scrape anything entirely from the internet.’

The hack targeted Will’s private devices during his college years. The group aimed to exploit high-profile individuals for attention.

Family’s Reaction and Coping

The quarterback’s mother described how they dealt with the aftermath. They found some relief in knowing the origins of the leak, which was not a malicious act from someone known to them.

Upon learning of the leak, Will contacted his mother, offering an apology. Beth recalled her emotional response to the situation.

Will has been with the Titans since 2023 but missed the entire 2025 season due to an injury. As of now, he has accumulated 3,899 passing yards and 21 touchdowns through 21 games. Going into the 2026 season, he is expected to serve as backup to Cam Ward.
